Community Involvement
We at Cornell Construction are excited and committed to support the causes that matter to our clients, our employees and our community. Some of these include:
• New Brant County Twin Pad Complex
“Cornell Construction Limited Donates Generously!”
• (Paris, ON) Monday, Cornell Construction President John McAllister and Vice President Jeff McAllister presented a cheque for an undisclosed amount to the Twin Pad Capital Campaign.
Commenting on Cornell Construction’s donation, both John and Jeff noted that the company was more than excited to contribute to the project and were thrilled to purchase a dressing room in the Brant Sports Complex.
“What a tremendous contribution to the campaign, greatly appreciated!” said Mayor Ron Eddy.
Councillor Brian Coleman added, “We certainly appreciate the support and this generous gift will help the campaign reach its $3.5 million goal.”
Brant Waterways Foundation
Brant Waterways is a non-profit, charitable Foundation, established in 1988, whose objective is to provide funding assistance or projects that preserve, protect, restore, and improve the natural resources of the Grand River and its related bodies of water and adjacent lands within the County of Brant.
Grand Erie District School Board & Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic School Board
Every year Cornell Construction donates a $500.00 Scholarship to each of the two area School Boards. This Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the field of Civil or Construction Engineering.
College Co-operative Education Program
Cornell Construction hires and mentors Students from the Engineering Programs for summer co-op placements. We feel it is very important to aid in the future of the industry.
