Cecil started out  with a single axle dump truck and a bulldozer.  Cecil passed away, leaving the business to his wife Ester.

Jack  help make Cornell Construction a big player locally in the sewer / water main / site servicing business as well as surface treatment across Southern Ontario.  The year Jack started was a record breaking year for the company. Laying 15 miles of underground pipe and spraying 1 million gallons of emulsion was an incredible achievement in the early forties.

Bruce purchased the company from Jack Henniger and sold in 1979.

Bill took the company in a direction that eventually phased out the underground work completely.  Cornell expanded its surface treatments and hot mix paving business./

John purchased the company after having worked here since 1962 when he started with Jack Henniger.  Today John is still activity involved in the company while in the process of passing the reins to his son Jeff McAllister (Vice President).
